Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and member-focused individuals to join our team as a Member Services Officers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial assistance to our valued members while delivering high-quality customer care.
Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong member care ethos, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate(s) will be required to work from any of our 5 offices. Our offices are located in Ballinlough, Ballyphehane, Dillons Cross, Kinsale and South Mall.
Key Accountabilities
- Support our valued Members with their financial transactions.
- Provide a superior level of assistance and service in a timely and efficient manner.
- Completing Member transactions and managing payments i.e. direct debit & standing orders
- Fulfilling member requests, resolving problems and responding to Member’s queries through multiple channels - telephone, online and over the counter.
- Assisting Members with the Credit Unions online platforms - CUOnline & Mobile App
- Processing of new membership applications and loan applications.
- Know and understand the products and services that are available to our Members and be able to promote these easily and clearly to our Members.
- Completing other duties as assigned to include a range of administrative and organisational tasks.
- Contributing to a positive team environment and working collaboratively with other team members
Requirements
- Excellent member care ethos
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Previous cash handling & lending experience, while not essential, would be an advantage.
- APA in Loans or QFA or prepared to work towards achieving same.
